From May 10 to August 29, more than 190 volunteers will be building homes Around the World in 80 Days in celebration of Habitat for Humanity Global Village’s 10th anniversary.  Starting in PEI, 15 teams will work with local communities in 11 different countries, to build safe and affordable housing.

The idea for the 80 day build came from veteran Global Village team leader, Alan Rendall. ““Trips are the perfect combination of travel, a genuine cultural experience and the opportunity to give back to families in need,” he says.

Volunteers are still being accepted in participate in the Around the World in 80 Days build. No previous building experience is required, just a sense of adventure and good health. Global Village participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a local community and society in a unique way.
